Third-party international money transfer
« on: August 18, 2008, 06:36:48 PM »
Does anyone know the details regarding Lloyds Bank? There's information on their webpage about overseas payments but I'll be receiving a large sum of money (possible 6 digits) from a relative in a few months.

Shop around to get the best rates.  Banks are usually not great.  People such as Worldwide Currencies (link from here http://www.medivisas.com/links.asp ) tend to be much more efficient.

They don't allow third-party transfers.
