They are available at the local bulk candy store.  Whenever I go, I get some sugared almonds, some small size gobstoppers/jawbreakers and a candy watch.

Do you actually wear the candy watch?   :D

Hah!  He only said it was ice to shorten the lecture!
That whole thing was such a fiasco.  When the receptionist started making a big deal out of me not being there for 11 years, the kids smelled blood.  Then my daughter go to be in the room while the dentist was lecturing and got to gleefully announce the results to everyone in the waiting room.

I used to work for a very small company ,in which the canteen was run by just one person. Her french toast and pancakes were to die for.  Her french toast was on her homemade bread, thick and eggy and rich with cinnamon and nutmeg and her pancakes were rich, thick, and fluffy (and if they were the blueberry ones, they had just the right amount of juice and 'pop'). Side of bacon, or thick ham or kielbasa and of course, all covered in butter and syrup.  A big stack on a Friday morning meant I could skip lunch....

I would love these right now. But sadly, it's not something I can get  :\\\'(

Any chance you can contact the company and find out who this woman was?  Maybe she'll share her recipes with you.  I know she'd be flattered if you reached out to her because you remembered her amazing food (that doesn't mean she'll share recipes, though!  Some people just don't like to share their recipes!).

I wish I could, but the small company got taken over by a much bigger company and it all changed.

And food like that is about more than just the recipe.  :)

Well, true. Some people just know how to make amazing food.  I wish I was like that.  I like what I make well enough, but I know nobody will ever wish they could find me years later just to enjoy some of my cooking again.

They are more pricey 3/£10 for a 2 pack of quarter pound burgers but they are worth the taste and quality.  I would normally just make my own from mince but I couldn't be bothered.
