Have you tried a copycat recipe?  I've made cheese sauces over here, but not a proper nacho cheese (yet).  I'm not convinced this one tastes salty/tangy/spicy enough, but I'd be willing to give it a try.  I know the colour won't be right, because US "cheddar" is a lot more orange than UK cheddar.  But I've heard a dash of tumeric will give you the colour you seek, if that's important to you.

I'm bloated from all the salty food in China. I'm just not used to eating salt.

And I'm just not getting enough veg. You would think we'd have lots of veg, but actually, everything has been very meat heavy.  Certainly odd bits of vegetables here and there like choi sum and Kallian, but I normally eat a lot of fruit and veg - Veg is usually the first part of my meal chosen.  So, actually, I really just want something simple at the moment, full of vegetables ,without a lot of salt or MSG.

Don't take this as a complaint though, just a wee craving.  Oh the food has been amazing. And I'm adventurous. Had these gorgeous frog legs that were a bit sweet and a lot sour.Yum!!Spicy food galore.   And dim sum, oh I love dim sum.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

In the US, if you got a packet of crisps that had an odd-sounding flavour, they would be the hint of that flavour... more of an "inspired by" kind of thing.  Over here, if it says "roast chicken", it really tastes like roast chicken.  This is not a good way to flavour crisps.  I do not think I will try the classic burger flavour.  *shudder*

Got this in Brussels and it mostly tastes like Pickles and burger sauce so I'm sure some people would love it. I, however, HATE pickles LOL It takes like when you ask for a burger at Burger King with no pickles or mustard and then they give you pickles and mustard anyways so you just try to pick it all off but the taste still lingers LOL

Yeah, me, too!

We are considering a short trip back this winter, to clear up some loose threads, and I'm going to be stuffing my face so badly....

Not Mexican, but last night we made mozzarella cheese (first try) and it came out well, so when Tesco brings my milk in the morning I'll make ricotta and then a big pan of lasagna is going in my oven. Won't have to cook for a week!  ;D
