What food are you craving right now?

My husband's spicy sausage pasta. After a few weeks on the road, eating nothing but Asian food, I want Western comfort food. Luckily, I'm home tomorrow night and he's promised to make it for me.

Not sure if it was this thread or a different one, but someone was talking about Chicago pizza.  I wouldn't know the difference between a Chicago, New York or Timbuktu pizza -- I'm from California!  All I know is that I don't like deep pan -- the topping-to-bread ratio is all wrong for me.

I did look it up    The stuff I crave is easily googable as well, and 9 times out of 10 shows up under New England's Yankee Magazine.

That's a Chicago deep dish pizza. I'm with you. I like a nice thick crust with many toppings and not too much sauce.

We had garbage plates in Rochester too. I need to learn how to make Nick Tahou's style hot sauce because they look terrible but taste delicious!

I also miss guilden's brown mustard. Nearly all the mustard here is not gluten free and it just tastes different. Yellow mustard and deviled eggs do not go together!

Ooh good call! Thank you! I haven't found hot dogs yet but my instant pot will be here soon, and that makes perfect boiled eggs so deviled eggs are in my near future.

Heinz salad cream makes great devilled eggs margo (well depends on your mustard/mayo ratio) and I think that's gluten free
