I love pudding... chocolate pudding. (Not the generic term for dessert pudding either. Lol)

I either make chocolate avocado pudding or chocolate chia pudding instead.

Hubby tasted my chocolate chia pudding and went into immediate yuck mode... he now calls it frog spawn. Lmfao

Don't make me Google this.  What's icebox cake?  Is it just cake you put in the 'fridge?  (Like a really good German chocolate cake with coconut-pecan icing, chilled to deliciousness.... nom!)

I LOVE icebox cake!

Are there people that don't?! haha My mom brought me a box of graham crackers that I'm debating paying out the nose for pudding to make icebox cake but then I would be a sad human being eating my cake alone as my husband will probably be like "it's too sweet!"

it's graham crackers that end up getting all soft and delicious because it's sandwiched between layers of chocolate and vanilla pudding and then whacked in the fridge :) Enjoyed best in the summer, by the pool, with family.

Oh dear.... your husband says my thing: "It's too sweet!"  Don't get me wrong.  I do like sweet things but if I eat too much, I feel ill, so I often skip it altogether.  My poor husband... he loves sweets and while I almost never think of dessert, that's his favourite part of every meal.

Here's a simple recipe for pudding if you can't find the boxes for cheap.  Know that "cornstarch" over here is called "cornflour".  Everything else is pretty straightforward.

Edited to add: Admittedly, this doesn't have the relative ease of mixing the pudding mixes with cold milk and bashing it all together.  But if you just really want the noms, it doesn't seem like too much work.

Ready to eat custard would probably work fine too.

Wouldn't it be too runny?  I thought ready to eat custard was pourable.  Can you thicken it (with more cornflour, or something)?

But, yeah... just add cocoa powder for the chocolate one.  Should work.  I think it's the same thing, isn't it?
