Malt loaf.

The BBC Food Programme podcast was all about malt today and it really made me want horlicks and malt loaf (yet strangely, not the beer, whiskey, Mars bars, or Maltesers they also mentioned...)

I'd give much for some burgers and chicken rings White Castle at the moment, with a Snickers Blizzard from Dairy Queen for dessert.

I really miss Taco Bell, those two mentioned above, Dennys, Applebees and corndogs. Hubby lived in the States for nearly five years, and he misses all those places too, but still says the food here is better overall. I like the fish here, but still prefer the fish at Long John Silvers.

I'd almost kill for some Peeps. Mom has been buying a couple packs here and there and putting them in the freezer so I can bring them back with me after we visit this summer.

The irish kind? You can get them in Tescos, toasted with a little butter on (okay a lot of butter :D) they're fantabulous, or if you mean the thin latkes time you can normally get them in the Polish section or at Polish delis :)

I've been thinking about 'REAL' KFC all day. Here it seems to be an original/extra crispy hybrid that comes out being neither.  :\\\'( Plus, a side of fries instead of mashed potatoes just isn't the same.
