What food are you craving right now?

  What is that?  If Phatbeetle is liking it then I am a bit nervous....

It's ok, it is very un-scary! Just slices of fresh tomato in a morning roll. 

I don't fully remember what helluva good French onion dip tasted like, but I have been on a veggie and dip kick lately so tried making my own version after comparing a few recipes (I wasn't up for making caramelised onions so this was based on the ones that used dry spices).

I'm sure this isn't perfect but it was quite good!

The bigger tub of sour cream from sainsbury's
1/4 cup of mayo (optional)
1Tbsp dried minced onion
1tsp onion granules
a pinch of garlic granules
1tsp dried parsley
half a kallo beef stock cube crumbled

I mixed the crushed stock cube with a couple drops of boiled water - just enough to dissolve it slightly before mixing the rest together. Let sit for an hour.

7+ years back in the UK now and there aren't very many things I miss. I get the urge every once in a while for Twizzlers and I order a couple of tubs of them from Amazon ....a bit expensive, but........ Problem is, a 5lb tub only lasts me a few days.

A couple of days ago I got fed up with using the Soy Sauce here and ordered 3 bottles of La Choy soy sauce off Amazon. I wasn't sure it was the stuff I was using back in the US, but..... bingo. Likely order a few more now.

  Did you just say that you eat 5 pounds of twizzlers in a few days? That red stuff, kind of like liquorice?  5 pounds of that would put me in a coma!

Supposedly the La Choy soy sauce is worse than the Kikkoman type soy sauce. I don't care.....I like the La Choy a LOT more. Salt is irrelevant.....I don't have high blood pressure.

  You must have built up some tolerance for E numbers!  After 10 pounds of red candy I would be running around the park in my underwear trying to catch the deer, that is if I could get off the sofa. 

Sugar, caffeine etc has no effect on me. I also consume a LARGE amount of Diet Coke. I can have several right before I go to bed and sleep like a baby. Sugar....nothing.

I can consume mega doses of caffeine and go right to sleep. No effect.

I always think I want Twizzlers and when I get them I'm so disappointed. They taste like nothing. British and Dutch licorice is so much nicer.

I was in Costco a couple of weeks ago and bought a DIY pretzel kit!!  Might try making that this weekend.

I've made pretzels with my kids several times.  It's just normal dough, then roll it into strips and boil it.  Then tie it into a knot  and bake.
