I'm craving Fruit Loops today!

Rather perversely, I want a chicken tandoori pizza from Dominos.  As if Dominos here has even heard of tandoori.... [Or, actually, if most people here have ever heard of tandoori!]

Or a steak bake from Greggs. (I'm kind of surprised how much I miss Greggs. There's a Pret in NYC, though!)

But since the AC kicked on at just before 7:00am today, I think it's going to be a chilled salad. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I've never had poutine but the thought of it makes me crave chips and curry sauce from the chinese place.

Yes. I miss my weekend trips to Toronto or Montreal. No where in the states was close unless I made it myself, and over here not a chance! I can't even find the cheddar cheese curds.

Root beer float.  I remember getting the most gorgeous root beer floats at a Howard Johnson's with my aunt when I was a kid.

I'm great. Just been super busy working as many hours possible as a support worker. I found my gift in life working with disabled adults in independent living.

My husband just started working for the same charity as me but in a different service.

Kids are great. My baby girl got married and I missed it. My oldest daughter is moving to Montana and I have some strong feelings about that I didn't expect to have... like the rest of the family is breaking up. My babies won't all be together. And like I'm ever going to go to Montana when I go back home.

My health is stable right now since the NHS is no longer poisoning me with the wrong medication.

I just got ILR and will be filing for citizenship hopefully sometime soon. 🪙

Chicken and matzo ball soup!

I've been to York a couple of times lately....made sure I stopped at Taco Bell. I really like my grease.
