What food are you craving right now?

Root beer. A&W, Dads, Barqs, cheapie brand.. doesn't matter which one, just root beer. I never imagined I would miss it so much. Last year on our visit home I drank as much as I could of it and will probably do it again this year.

Also Bottle Caps candy. That craving started a couple minutes ago.

I know he feeling on both accounts. I tried the rootbeer in ASDA while back it was nasty never tried it again.

A Twix bar I planted a seed in Dh head this morning I wantedone so he might bring me 1 home after work heres to hoping!!

My MA friend here was craving it and she doesn't cook, so I made her some (I'd never made it before) and took it over for lunch one day. I love it and I was pretty happy with how it turned out. She was 9 months pregnant at the time, so it brought her to tears! 

Nandos!  Good thing I'm meeting a friend there for lunch at 1 - heh!  But can I last 2 whole hours until then... 

Chips and dip.....

Bean dip, guacamole, cheese dip, salsa! Seven layer dip would do the trick for all of it. Hmm....Anyone have a nice 7 layer dip recipe?

That's where we are eating tomorrow evening. I've been singing Ren and Stimpy's 'Happy Happy Joy Joy' song in my head the last couple days because it is getting closer. I could easily eat there daily and never get tired of it.

I do, but you need some specialist ingredients depending on what you're making, you can make pot sticker pastry yourself but I like buying spring roll and wonton pastry. You could improvise with filo pastry for some of it, like spring rolls.

I feel bad now as I'm eating a dim sum pack from a local hole in the wall for lunch.

Heheh don't feel bad about eating dim sum, I say lucky you!

Sticky rice, wonton wrappers, spring roll wrappers, sesame seeds for sesame prawn toasts, you can make steamed buns really easily using this recipe - http://chinesefood.about.com/od/dimsumbuns/r/steamedbun.htm  and just make your own char sui pork or use minced pork and spices.

You should be able to do a lot of it yourself without ordering too much I think

Hot dog off the grill, slightly blistered to nearly black, on a bun with ketchup, mustard, onion and pickle.  The 'hot dogs' over here just don't quite cut it. Four more weeks and I can have one.

Get yourself to a costco--- can get good hotdogs, bring them home and blister them
