I've been wanting a Coffee Coolatta type of drink (but hate it when they're so sugary sweet, like Costa ones.)  I don't even have a blender so not sure how I can recreate it without buying another kitchen gadget....
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

I'm currently on my flight back to Edinburgh and my suitcase is ridiculous.

I flew over to the US with a 5 kilo backpack. I'm flying back with a 20 kilo suitcase and a 9 kilo backpack full of food and meds.

After carrying this crap around for over 12 hours it makes me wonder if I really needed that Velveeta cheese block and canned cheese sauce.

I can't believe you have to question that!  The answer is yes.

My sister-in-law sends me care packages very occasionally (two so far in the four+ years I've been here, and she's preparing a third).  In the last one, I asks for Velveeta mini blocks.  They're great because I can just open a small portion without the rest of it drying out.  They let me hoard me Velveeta and eat it, too.  :)

Carrying it around for so long made me question it but now that I'm home, relaxing on the couch, I'm glad I brought it.  Lol

I keep forgetting!  The Southampton location opened just after I moved from Salisbury to southwest Wales.  I could've lived within a reasonable distance of one, but now it's a stupidly long drive.

Anybody who's been to a UK Taco Bell:  Do they have Mountain Dew?  Regular Mountain Dew, not the "Citrus Blast" (UK version), and not Baja Blast.  I just want the plain old stuff made with the HFCS that I know (is bad for me) and love.  It's part of the Taco Bell flavor profile for me, and any other drink won't be quite the same when I finally get to go.

That said, I would drink it, because I have to have something!

I know you can check on their website as I went looking for Baja. I think it's just hard to find because the UK supposedly banned most Mt Dews except the original (or so I've been told) and they aren't fans of the original (I think because of ingredients?) so it's tough to find and might not be offered there...but at least it's only the original you're looking for so you've got a shot!

Bacetracin, Polysporin or similar, Benadryl with diphenhydramine, Aleve or Naproxen, giant size bottles of ibuprofen, Dramamine...

And for foods... decent peanut butter,  different varieties of M&M's and Oreos,  Velveeta, ranch dressing packets, Old Bay Seasoning or your favorite spices...

We are awash with Oreo's here, and M&Ms in different flavours.  I'd skip all that and focus on grits.

Do you have the coffee and nut flavored M&M's?

I can buy grits in Tesco... I just don't know how to cook them. Lol

I was at Taco Bell in Sheffield yesterday - no Mountain Dew.

Isn't Mountain Dew just available in the bottles?

Mmmmmmm, grits (I may be from New England, but my Dad and his whole family are Southerners, so my Mom had to learn how to cook them.). I may need to get some!

My food stuffs from the US dwindle more and more and more after 9.6 years here.  I don't miss too much and I don't eat all that much 'junky food'

That said, my sister came a few weeks ago with a few things for me:
2 x boxes of Zatarain's Rice Pilaf
1 bottle of McCormick smokehouse maple seasoning
1 bottle of McCormick chipotle bacon seasoning
A bag of Fritos (I know these are around here, but expensive and nowhere near me)- I will say these were heavenly!
And a bag of mini-York peppermint patties

I've never gotten food on my underpants!

Fritos and peppermint patties!

And thank you for your kind words related to grits.

I'm the same as you, I bring back a few Heath bars but I've got enough sweets in my life.  I don't need an excuse to eat too much.

I'm pretty sure I saw my step son with a bottle of it.

So what's with the Taco Bell Mountain Dew?

Coffee and nut flavoured M&Ms?  Sometimes it feels like the end of days!   Trump spends an hour talking privately with Putin about dropping sanctions in return for keeping the pee tapes private and all the Americans can think about is coffee flavoured M&Ms?  I'm losing my mind.

Not having a go at you Nctami, I love M&Ms as well and maybe some coffee ones would help me get over my impending stroke.  I don't know the exact flavours, but my Tesco had at least 4 available.

I used to be able to get grits in my Tesco as well, not sure what happened.

It's all good. I brought over a bag of peanut butter flavored M&M's for my sister in law. You can probably get them here but she asked and I didn't want to be rude. I just happened to see the coffee and nut flavored ones when I was looking for these. There was also a fruit and nut one. Never seen them before.

I just need to stop eating and obsessing over food. Lol
