Blue Moon beer in London?
« on: August 25, 2008, 10:51:05 PM »
Does anyone know where to find the Blue Moon beer by Coors? All the places which carry American beers around here usually only have Anchor Steam and such.

Sorry... i've never heard of this beer.
Maybe no one imports it... you say 'where to find it' like it's a given that we can get it here, but perhaps it's not available.

It's worth ringing or emailing Utobeer to see if they can get it for you. They've got a stall at Borough Market which stocks a staggering array of imported beers.

Though they can't get me Yuengling. :( They are still mere humans, afterall.

No idea where to get it, but I love blue moon.  But there are lots of other wheat beers around, maybe one of those will meet your fancy?

Squirrelypoo- I love Yuengling and we can't even get it here in GA! I have to get it (legally ;) ) transported across state lines by my brother when he comes for a visit from VA! I've only got 4 left from his last visit. :(

I love Blue Moon as well. BUT there are SOOOOO many great actual Belgian beers available in Britain. I'm sure you could find something that is much better. I love trying all the different beers in each pub (not all at once, mind!) to find new favourites. Though I suppose, I will miss Blue Moon a little since it's a piece of home. Guess that gives me an excuse to enjoy it while I can here.

Sorry I can't help with your problem, though. :(

Not sure if you are looking for an off licence that has it or a pub/bar but have you tried the Texas Embassy? They do have a lot of American beers & other drinks. I'm not a beer drinker so not sure if they have Blue Moon but it's the only place in the UK I've seen Mike's Hard Lemonade.

Hmm was just on the Coors UK website and I didn't see it listed as one of their beers here. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist though.
I have always like the Harvest Moon and the Honey Moon beers too.

The Harvest Moon just came out here in time for fall! :)

I miss Blue Moon soooo much!  I'll definitely be drinking a lot of it when I go back to visit in October.  Along with Firestone's Double Barrel Ale.  Yummy!!

I don't think we have Shipyard here. (I'm in GA). I will keep an eye out for it, though. I just love trying new beer!

I'll raise a glass of Harvest Moon just for you, too, Phatbeetle! ;)

Last year my Tesco had a lot of Pumpkin Ale and it was all pretty tasty and cheap since no one else seemed to buy it.

Have you tried Whole Foods? Or maybe Costco?
