cleaning a DVD player
« on: August 26, 2008, 03:56:34 PM »
We have the multi-region Yakumo DVD player a lot of folks on UKY seem to have. But lately it's really skipping A LOT - and with new DVDs. So it's obviously in need of a clean. But we've never done this before. What do we need to get to do this and where?

TIA
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

You can buy a special cleaning kit from WH Smiths one is a DVD player cleaner that includes a special "cleaning disc" and another also includes some solution to repair any minor scratches on your actual DVD discs.
