Immunization question
« on: May 21, 2004, 02:04:48 AM »
I was told that children in the U.K. do not begin their vaccination schedule until they are 2 years old.  Is this true?

Thanks,

Rebekah

Well to the best of my recollection when my children were born they started getting the needed jabs almost straight away. :)

Thanks waterg!  I guess I was hoping maybe the U.K. did hold off on all the shots; it seems over here they are pumping them full of vaccines younger and younger.  Example:  the Hep B shot, given right after birth.  I opted to have Jackson wait until 2 months old to receive his; but you know we really had to sweat it out over his sex life and wondering if he was using clean needles at his rock concerts in the meantime!  ;) ;D ::)
