Today I learned...

How lovely just a plain baked sweet potato can be - I don't think I've ever had one like that before, but I made them tonight on Nigel Slater's recommendation.  And I think they're actually supposed to be a little bit healthier for you than white potatoes maybe.  (Well maybe without the pat of butter we put on it, but still.)  We will definitely be having them again!

Me too! I do them quite often! A bit of butter, S&P and a dash of nutmeg. Mmmmm.... 

That first days to a new job can be tough and not just all about getting acquainted to your knew surroundings.   

I HEAR YOU THERE! I just finished my first week at my new job.. and my lordy, is it alot to take in. So much information thrown at me, i felt like my head was going to explode. But its definatly a change for the better, for me at least. Good luck!

I think they're actually MUCH healthier for you - aren't they a "super food"? We have them at least once a week but dh prefers them mashed. In fact I'm going to roast some tonight!

Today I learned that I've got a long way to go to get back to Super Anne. I've single handedly managed to spend my whole week off eating and drinking, haven't exercised once, forgot to send my bf AND my brother's b-day cards, let the housekeeping sink to a standard that is actually vaguely embarrassing, and STILL haven't re-started my 365.

That my cat Lucky likes Marmite.  Well, actually it was last night, but close enough. 

Never would have thought it, but he was so eager to get at my piece of toast with marmite that I saved a little corner for him, and he licked it until he was down to just completely bare toast and then some.

... and also that i have absolutely zero interest in continuing with my Project 365.

That there are some really nice people out there willing to take time out of their busy day to let a student interview them! 

That I can be friends  wth a lady that  was a 'mean girl ' to me  a  while back..with time  ..things have mellowd and we actually took our kids out today! who knew??
