Today I learned what a snuggy actually is.  (Link is NSFW IIRC)  A few people on other sites have talked about them, but I had no clue what they were on about.

It reminded me a bit of the shoulder blanket thing my MIL got me for Christmas. It sort of looks like this, but not quite as big as some of them.  It has the pockets, fringe, and everything.  But, I think my MIL thinks I will wear it out of the house because in the same package, she gave me a shirt that sort of goes with the colour of the blanket.
