OMG! a 3rd email after being told 15 working days...

I really hope 12 weeks is just a flux! We are planning on applying in a few weeks and I really wanna be there for the holidays. stupid student visas.

My husband and I were just talking about this last night.  It's so frustrating; you just want them to do it first come, first serve.  But I guess I'd feel different if I was hoping for a student visa

You can always pay the little bit extra to use a courier it may not be the same day but I'm sure it would cut down on the wait quite a lot.

we posted the pack on the 2nd September, received the email that they have opened it on the 9th, received email saying a further 10 days on the 9th, received the 12 week email on the 18th, and received the confirmation email that our visa has been approved today (22nd)

Exactly 20 days from posting....pretty much on schedule.  Excellent!

Danjberry, that is so fantastic =) congratulations, we booked my flight yesterday as well, will be in England on the 21st of October (samd day as DF's dads yank girlfriend. They are working on getting him over there, man is she pissed I got my visa already. They filed before me, and last I looked the US was just processing visas from February, so as hard as it is to wait, thank your lucky stars you weren't trying to go the other way

I cant tell you how happy i am. well everyone that has their visa will be feeling the same. Im picking the mrs up from heathrow on sunday so cant wait! good luck to everyone else and i hope it all runs smothly for you all
