Wow, thanks ladies!  I will look at these suggestions more in depth tomorrow morning.  I just found out my manager made a mistake on the schedule so now I *don't* have off this weekend, but I will try for next weekend.

We once took a day trip from Leeds to Scarborough (late fall/winter) and it was so foggy when we got there you couldn't see a thing!

Well we finally had our getaway--a month later than originally planned on our first wedding anniversary!

My hubby surprised me with the destination.  We went to Sedbergh (near Dent) in the Yorkshire Dales.  It was beautiful!  We stayed at a little cottage for two nights and hiked during the day. 

The fells were gorgeous.  Plus there was a huge waterfall and a herd of wild horses!
