I did mine a couple of days ago! The house smelled sooooo good! I couldn't help but eat a few spoonfuls and it tastes delicious.

I love mincemeat, I will have to give making it a try  :) What's the worse that could happen when brandy is involved!  ;D

If all else fails, finish off the brandy and you will forget it wasn't a success.  ;D

I was craving mincemeat pies all last Christmas season, and after reading this thread, I am going to make some this year. I am sure I could find some in bakeries here, but fresh from the oven would be so much better.
