I was thinking sort of the same thing!  Maybe he's just a father figure or an uncle sort of figure for you?

That's probably it.  I love that he's sort of like my mate now, and I know I can ring him & say 'Help! I don't know what I'm doing here! What do I need to do for X,Y, Z around the house...'  And he'll laugh and tell me how to do whatever it is (or else sometimes volunteer to come & do it for me!).  Although since he just finished the latest (paid) project for us, he was teasing that he's going to start charging me 10 pence a call for advice...but I said, well look here - you can stop in anytime for a cuppa and maybe a piece of cake...so I think he thought it's a fair trade.  (He's local & he works for a lot of my neighbors.)
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

Oh, celebs?
I've got a bit of a thing for Simon from the Hairy Bikers, but it's not a secret!  :)
And I like to look at Jeremy Vine, too.

I have a secret crush on Gregg Wallace from Masterchef. I'm not normally into short and bald, but something about the way he enjoys his food really gets to me.
I have a couple 'real life' secret crushes too, including one on DF's very flirty, French boss. :o

I'm in agreement with Matthew Macfayden.  Pride and Prejudice is my alltime favorite book and he actually looks a lot like my husband.

Also, Richard Hammond.  He's so adorable.  Mark Ruffalo.  Milo Ventimiglia (from Heroes).

I used to have crushes on Alexander Siddig and Joseph Fiennes.  Then there were the Chris Barrie years...

Now there are just the guys that are adorkable.. like Hiro on heroes.  I don't fancy him but there's something so endearingly geeky about him I just want to keep him in my pocket!

Great thread Niku!  :)  I love reading it.

Mine is kinda boring because it's just a "me too".  Whoever was saying they thought Alan Davies on QI was cute, I think so too.  It's something about his sheepish smile.  ;)

This thread is fantastic LOL and the OP is right, everyone has one!

Mine is absolutely always has been Alan Rickman... Even as professor Snape LOL!

I first became aware of him in Closet Land. Very intense movie, not much talked about.

Drools!   Have you seen him in the Texas In Demand music video?   ;)

I also like Paul McGillion from SGA.  I'm a dork!   ;D
