Will overgrooming hold us up upon arrival?
« on: October 02, 2008, 03:20:00 AM »
ARGH!  Shortly after we went through the int'l health certificates at the vet, I noticed a thin spot in my Pinky cat's fur.  Upon closer inspection, there are 2 spots -- one on his shoulder, and a larger spot behind his right leg.  We're undergoing testing for ringworm, and it is unlikely that it's a parasite, but it looks a little icky.  It's not red and irritated, just very thin, wispy fur.  I suspect he's stressed and anxious -- possibly combined with seasonal allergies.

That said, has anyone experienced anything like this?  While I know he's fit and healthy, I don't want to have trouble upon arrival at Heathrow.  Should my vet write a letter, explaining?

Argh.  Just one more thing to stress about.
