We bought a house!!!

After a bunch of months craziness selling our flat and then the craziness of trying to buy a new place...we have closed on a house on Friday!  The house needs a ton of work, but it's in a good location, we're able to afford it with one salary if we needed to (but it'd be painful to give up a lot of stuff to do so) and it will be lovely once it's done.  I've made a new blog to show the before...during...and after of the remodelling that we're doing:

Now, can't wait to get it done so we can move out of my inlaws' house!!!

Congrats on the new house. There's so many positives to owning your own house. I love my home, and it reallllly has helped me settle in better here. We still have lots of work to do, but we're still comfortable. Congrats again and good luck!

That's brilliant!
It looks really nice... doesnt really look like there's *that* much to be done to it, but some of it's maybe just down to your personal tastes!
