Oh, Carey! Good luck with the NY trip! You can get us all "designer" bags there. I got a "Prada" bad in Barcelona on the street for 15 euros! LOL He wanted 40 at first! I like to call it my "Frauda".

Back from London. OMG so exhausted.

For comfy heels, buy the doctor scholl insoles for heels (called pretty feet or something like that).  They really make heels a lot more comfortable!

Oh I love the Dr Scholes inserts. But they can't fix a really uncomfortable shoe unfortunately. So can I just say I LOVE Nordstrom Rack and I will miss it dearly. I went there on my lunch break today and I was trying on shoes and the Sex and the City theme song came on! hahaha. I thought it was so funny cuz the the discussion today. Anyway, I got a cute and REALLy comfy pair of Facade flats that are actually very cushy and I can wear over there and they look professional if I need them to. So I was really excited about that. I have decided that I need to get a pair of either A) Cole Haan heels (is a Nike brand of pumps, can you believe it? They're super comfy but way expensive) or B) I discovered Campers today. There were these ADORABLE ankle booties and they looked so cush and comfy but the only pair was too small!! or C) Aerosoles are supposedly pretty comfortable too. Just the name sounds comfortable!!

Okay thats all on shoes.

Goodness....so much to catch up on over the past day or so...lol.

And I JUST finished watching a few episodes of SATC.  LOVE them.

So...it's 3 degrees F here today.  That's bloody FREEZING!  And I have no choice but to go out today and pay some bills and get my laptop looked at (the mic jack doesn't want to work and neither does the internal mic...I think I oopsied!).

Hope everyone is staying warm and whatnot. 

Oh, and btw....Ian was looking online for places I could get candy for our wedding favors, and he found this store in Cleveland which I had NEVER known about....figured some of you ladies might wanna check it out for some things:

Just stopping by to say brrrrrr...it is freezing.....My sister and I have off from work today and are going shopping and getting new makeup and stuff...and then we are going away for the weekend...a fun girls weekend...Life here is good and I can't complain...I hope the rest of you have a great weekend....

Jason and I are getting our stuff ready for our visitor visa app...if anyone knows of any good Couriers in New York let me know...

Glad to hear life is good for you Josy! After a long month of Dec. that's wonderful news!

Guess what I did this morning! I bought my RT ticket to London!!! I arrive May 31 and leave July 31. 2 whole months!! WOOT! I cannot wait! So many plans! I realized this morning that I will be gone for 4th of July. That will be interesting since I won't be running the yearly 10K road race in Atlanta like usual. That's kind of sad, actually. But, hey! I can find some place cheesy in London to celebrate, right? Last year I was there right before the 4th and saw all kinds of decorations in different shops, so it seems there will likely be somewhere to celebrate it. Then, maybe I'll go to Paris for the 14th of July! Eek! Can you tell I'm excited?! OMG! I'm going to Europe!!!!

Well, hope the rest of you are good. Hopefully looking forward to the 3 day weekend. I have to work at the shop tmrw, but at least I sort of have part of Monday off (going to the running shop that day, too.) I'm gonna get back to work here! Ciao!

OMG so jealous Beth!  You will have a blast there on 4th of July... they do a lot of cheesy things from what I have heard.  I'll ask David where he and his mates went last year - they had an awesome time in some "American" themed place in London.  Of course, you could live out my July 4th dream and go to the Texas Embassy too.  They supposedly do a big thing.   Can I just make a plea while in the South of England, you go outside of London?  Go to Richmond - you can take the tube from London and its one of my favourite places! Mick Jagger lives there, but I dont hold that against it   Oh oh and if you can, you MUST go to Brighton.  Ohhhh England, how I love thee.

Carey- I've been to Richmond! I did a 10K there last year with a friend in fact! I decided that's where I'm going to live if I can't find something suitable near Hyde Park!. Bwahahahaha (yeah, right!) I'd like to go to Brighton. I'm also hoping to go to Wales. I want to go to Barry and see Stacey's house! LOL

The ticket was $801 all inclusive! That's Atl-Chicago-Dublin. I will still have to get the Dublin-London part, but that's no big deal....  I should really start a list of places to go/things to do this summer! As I've got it planned now, there will be a 4-5 day trip to Liverpool/Blackpool/Manchester; long weekend or something to Paris; a few days in Dublin (maybe); and possibly to S. Spain to visit my friend there! I'd like to see my friend who lives in Nottingham, too. I'm sure I will do plenty of day trips in/around London. I also want to go to Bristol and Bath! OMG. Will 2 months be enough time?? lol

I've been offered a spot on the BNL cruise at half price.  The cruise, that's in 2 weeks....and I'm saying no because I'm not ready to leave Tim yet. 

Yes. I'm willingly sacrificing going on a cruise I had a blast on last year with my favourite bands and most of my friends to stay with Tim.

hi ladies!! Hope everyone is finding themseleves well today! Today has been the best birthday almost ever:)  I woke up this morning to breakfast in bed and my favorite Dior fragrance mmmmmm good boy!! Then we went and looked at the place where our wedding ceremony will be held and then looked at Crewe Hall where we will be having our reception!!!! It's so freaking beautiful it looks like a castle!! So all in all very very nice day! Tonight we are going to have a meal with his brother and sister their spouses and a couple of girls that I have befriended and their husbands, will be a good time.  And THEN off to a fun night in Middlewich YAY

PS I would have probably said no to the cruise too:)

I'm so glad you ladies understand me. My cruising friends think I'm crazy for giving up a half-price cruise!

Tim asked me if I was home if I'd have gone, and I told him I probably would have....and the silly boy offered to pay for me to fly back for it, even though he doesn't want me to leave.  He's adorable. 

Becca- I think you made the right choice! Of course if it had been a Maroon 5 cruise, then I would have gone. To hell with the fiance/BF.

OMG- I just caught "What a girl wants" on tv. It has our boy Colin F in it! Holy cow. It was so cheezy (in a Disney channel/Oxygen kind of way!) but he still was his hot self. Plus, they were showing scenes of London! I can't believe i"m going to have 8 weeks to explore it all I want. Not 5 days- WEEKS!!!!!!!! WEEKS! I'm so excited!!!! 133 more days!

The closer the time gets, the more we'll all have to talk about meeting up somewhere in London.  Josy's supposed to be there in June as well....so we'll all have to get together.

And it's still uber cold here.  Working the weekend.  But tonight I went to my Mom's and she and I put together the wedding invites.  YAY!  Mailing them out by the end of the week (need to go to the post office on Tues. and pick up lovey dovey stamps).

And yes, Becca...I would've skipped the cruise as well.
