Yays!  :D *throws a party* I'm jealous, but I was waiting to hear that he made it through, so now I'm happy again.

Carey and kittenfish and shugga how is it going?

All the other ladies in here what is new?

Not too bad I suppose, had the hot water heater break on me and my mom, so we've spent the last couple days sorting it out  :-\\\\ Oh, and lurking around over here, I like hearing everybody's happy stories and you guys kinda know that I'm going through so I feel kinda comfortable here  :)

just spending time with Tim as much as  Ican in the next 10 days and there's SO MUCh we need to squeeze in.

We went to see Lesbian Vampire Killers this afternoon for a laugh in between a visit to his grandad to help move furniture and this evening we're off to visit his Gran in hospital....this weekend is pretty calm, but then we've got things on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, AND Sunday, plus a big family dinner on Sunday and then I leave on Monday the 6th. :(

BUTTT.....Tim will book his flight over before I leave so we'll have that definitely in the bag....and he mentioned to me this morning while we were cuddling in bed that he thinks his big revelation is going to come the first night he has to sleep alone after I leave.  He's been starting to think about me leaving, and he doesn't like it at all!  (but even if he proposes to me tonight, I'd still have to go back to the US to apply for the proper visa, so either way, I have to go back on the 6th.)

Tim's sister wants to take a family portrait with me in it on Sunday, too.  The fact that his family doesn't want me to leave really makes me happy, too.  Just knowing they accept me and want me in their lives as well as Tim's really gives me the warm and fuzzies.  (so do all of Tim's friends I've met. Helen had a talk with the other 16mm guys and they all told her they don't want me to leave because they hadn't seen Tim as happy as he's been with me for a long time)

YES!  Do you watch Gavin and Stacy?  The two guys in the show, James Cordon and Matt Horne teamed up as a comedy routine. They've got their own sketch show on BBC Three, and this movie just came out last weekend. It's so silly, but a good laugh.

I know!  :):)  It made me happy.  We went to visit his Gran in hospital today, and she's even sad to see me go and made me promise to visit her one more time before I leave!

Hi, ladies!  I'm sneaking on here real quick while Ian does the washing up (I DEFINITELY have a keeper on my hands).

He DID make it through (thank you for updating, Carey! xx).  Basically he didn't just give out the truth, just answered what he was asked.  The IO was VERY laid back.  Ian thought the guy was about to take a nap during his interview...lol.

So yeah...been blissful ever since he's gotten here.  Yesterday we got our marriage license, Carey is kinda helping us plan our honeymoon to Washington, DC, and we've been busy running around and visiting people.  We've slept, but it feels like we haven't...lol.

Anywho, so how are things with you, ladies?  Hope all is well!!!!  I miss you all.

I'll try and pop on now and again here to see how you all are doing.

Have a lovely weekend, ladies!! xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hehe, that's ultimately what my fiance will more likely than not do--it's not like he's lugging a tux around with him or anything, so he'll more likely than not answer how he's always answered when he's come here before on vacation--'it's a holiday' :) Nothing wrong with it I suppose, nothing more, nothing less :P

Good luck in a couple of days, I'm really excited for you  :D

Well hello everyone. So I'm flying to England in T minus 2.5 days. I have yet to pack, and have some last minute things to do... AND I'm getting ill. Of course. Woke up this morning with a sore throat and it has progressed to achyness, etc. So needless to say I've gotten next to nothing done. Hopefully I feel a lot better by morning time. :( Just popping on to say hello. Hope everyone's having a good weekend. And Patty, I'm so happy for you and Ian! You'll be a married lady soon. :)

I had a mini breakdown on Friday night while we were both stretched out on the sofa watching, of all things, "My Neighbour, Totoro".  We usually each occupy one end of the sofa with our legs tangled in the middle, and then we share the spare duvet and usually sporadically play footsie.  It just all ofa sudden hit me that it was my second-to-last Friday with Tim, and one of the last times we'd be snuggled up like that for a while.

:(

but I was fine yesterday, and I hope to be feeling okay today, too.

Yeah, I know that feeling all too well :( The last week I was there they were having Most Haunted Live on the telly, and we watched it every night it was on (awesome show). The first night we watched it, we had my fiance's three kids over for the night, and after they watched a bit (only the intro bit, nothing to really get scared over) and went up to bed we sat up to watch the rest of it. It was quiet, and dark, and we had a couple bottles of wine split between the two of us, and I realized I only had a week left before I would be stuck on a computer again, waiting for Steve to get online. And we wouldn't be able to sit around and talk about ghosts with his kids, and to assure them that the ghosts of Roman soldiers in the catacombs beneath Daventry wouldn't get up to eat them in the middle of the night. And I wouldn't be able to reach over and just touch him if I wanted to.

Wow, I'm a downer  :-\\\\

But it'll get better with time once you're back in the States. It hurts the first few days, but then a week passes, and it gets more bearable. You kinda get back into your routines, and plan the next trip (or marriage, or visa, or whatever) and things settle a bit. I still get down a lot (PMS makes it way worse), but I'm a naturally depressive person. And I troll these forums, they help a lot too :)

LOL I'm supposed to be PMSy the week I get back, but I'm engineering things to skip my period and the PMS part this month. I really don't want to deal with PMS on top of just coming home!

I was like that when I left after my first visit, I was in the middle of some PMS and it did make me more weepy than I normally am at the airport :P And normally while I'm here at home I kinda have my emotions under control concerning me and Steve, but this month I'm just horrible. The whole thing seems worse than last month, but I'm more weepy with him, or without him--normally when I'm on BC I'm okay but I haven't been on it in a year or so due to some other issues going on, so I'm like a lunatic at times  :-[

Hiya, ladies!!!

Up early here so I can get all beautified.  Actually....I'm up early so I can get some coffee in my system before I begin to get ready.

Today's the big day for Ian and I!  WOO HOO!!!!  NEVER thought it would get here, and I just wanted to take the time real quick to thank you ladies for being so supportive with everything.  If if weren't for you all, I don't think I would've survived the distance, the stress, the worries, and everything else.

So thank you OH SO MUCH!!!  I don't think I'll ever be able to express my appreciation for you all.

Now....I must finish this coffee so I can shower and whatnot.  Will post a photo a.s.a.p. from today.  Ope...sounds like Ian is awake...must dash!

xxxx
