  This email was Hilarious!! I looked through my huge movie collection the other day and realized I Only own romance.  I had no idea. lol

I feel like I'm losing my mind sometimes when I start to miss my boyfriend so I'm happy to hear of all the stories.. and know that I'm somehow not alone.

So I heard back from the embassy today.   Granted, it was just a letter going "send us money, and not a check!"  But still, at least it means they have officially gotten/seen my application.

Bit of a fail on their part with reading comprehension, though, since I said in my cover letter that the reason I wasn't including CC info with the mailing was to avoid sending my CC info through the mail, and today's letter requested that I mail them CC info.    They also provided a phone number to call with questions, though, so I just left them a voicemail message with the info.  (I don't know why, mentally, that seems more security-conscious to me, but it does!)

So yay, forward progress.    And my pets have an appointment on June 22 to get their blood drawn for the rabies titer.

I just came back from a few days in Crewe visiting Jamie and Alan...and can I just tell you that they are 2 of the coolest people I have ever met...they are great cooks and we had a really great time...so Jamie and Alan thanks for a great time...

Sadly, I am not there... I am "home" from my trip already.  I had the best week ever and am so ready to be there for good!  I am working on moving my move up to August, but not sure if I will be able to... More details to come

By the way, have any of you ventured to Brownsea Island?  We went there on a whim and its SO lovely!!  I highly recommend it as a day trip to anyone who is down south.

That would be very cool!  I've been chatting with a coworker who lived in London for a few years, and I want to move now.  Sadly, I need to finish fixing up the house, and put it on the market, and wait for it to sell, and...a ton of other things.  Not the least of which is wait for my pets to be eligible to travel (unless I con my parents into petsitting for a while )

very exciting!  i've never heard of brownsea island but will have to read up on it...i'm a sucker for anyplace with the word "island" attached, i've found.

i'm leaving for england in just a few hours!  it will be a fairly short visit, as it works out to be just under a week, but i'm moving three suitcases over and will finally get to see our new flat!  i can't wait!!

Tim's been away for the past 5 days with his best mate. I wasn't expecting to hear from him tonight because it was getting late, and he has the early turn tomorrow.  He called me around 11:30PM BST because he missed me and had just gotten home. Aww.

I've been exchanging e-mails with a guy in London (also a Tim!), and he seems quite cool, but he's pretty slow to respond, so I don't know if he's just busy or not that interested (or both).  Either way, it's a drag.

Yeah, if he's just busy, that's fine/understandable.  It'd be nice to know if it is busy or uninterested, though.  (And really, I can't blame him if he's uninterested, given that we're 3,000 miles apart and have never met.  On the other hand, he did seem excited about the prospect of meeting up in NYC when he's there this summer on business, so...?)

Boys/dating are a major pain, I've decided.
