Chipotle (my spelling error in the first place, sorry Alan!) is the most wonderful restaurant ever.  Huge burritos filled with rice and beans and cheese and sour cream and whatever else you want, basically!  Although I get mine in a bowl and then make little burritos with the tortilla on the side. Heavenly.   For your reference: http://www.chipotle.com/#flash/food_menu

And you will all be happy to know that Holiday in Handcuffs is on again tonight!  (I think I will skip it this time, though)

Why does this sound like the kinky version of The Holiday? (Not that I would mind, mind you, as long as Jude is still there! LOL)

Beth I think you are right it is the kinky version of the holiday and the actors aren't as cute lol

well I think I heard from Jason this evening...I got a text message from his aim account telling me he had fantastic news...but when I came home there was no email or anything from him...so I am wondering if it is really from him or not...I will have to wait and see

I am sorry I missed the conversation today ...it was busy at work...

Wow, this thread really took off!  I guess this is the price I pay for being bogged down with work and only checking the site a few times a week...

I just caught up on the whole thing, however (seemed like a better idea than preparing for a philosophy exam) and just thought I'd say, Josy, I'm rooting for you!  I definitely hope your romantic comedy moment comes soon!

And also, I've been living in DC for two years now and have just discovered Chipotle (there aren't any in my area in Pennsylvania) and I'm not quite sure how I've got so far without it...and I'm seriously reconsidering the move to Northern Ireland based solely on the fact that they're severely lacking in the burrito/taco department... :-\\\\

Welcome back, Breslin!  I am sure there are some philosophy lessons here in this thread. Critical theory or something??  ( I have no idea what that really is...)

LOL Beth - kinky and Jude Law would go together quite well, if you ask me!

Keep us posted, Josy.  My fingers are crossed!

Now I want more Chipotle... Yum yum.

And BBreslin wow chipolte is that good that you would rethink your move hehe

thank you all and I will keep you updated...we shall see what happens....

I think the British word for tomorrow should be wonky....

what do you all think?

and I am impressed that the British man likes Burritos and Tacos...I didn't think that could ever happen lol

I go off to London and the South seaside for a few days and you ladies (and token man) posted eight pages?!

*Holiday in Handcuffs is a fun movie. I forgot I would be missing out on all the silly hallmark channel, lifetime, and family channel holiday movies by being here. :(.  I want to see Santa Claus seeks Mrs. Claus!

*Puking...oi, don't remind me.  I've been having intermittent stomach problems for the past few weeks, and don't you know the night we arrive in Shorham-by-sea and the day before we're set to go into London to see Spamalot I get violently ill around 2 in the morning?  Ugh.  Fortunately, I packed seabands (the seasick/motion sick wrist band things) and I wore those all weekend and felt better.

*Spamalot - Brilliant.  Hilarious.  As much as I wanted to see other musicals more, I'm glad we went, since this was something we were able to do with Tim's siblings.

*Tim took me to Stonehenge!!  And I took over 100 photos. LOL.  Absolutely amazing.

Oh, and last night...haha.  I wanted to watch the Devil's Whore (yay John Simm) at 9PM. IT was 8PM and we needed something to do for an hour, so Tim popped in a DVD....well, we ignored the DVD and I wound up dragging him up stairs and we missed the show we wanted to watch.  But anyway.  We started talking about how long I wanted to extend my visit for - just through the holidays, or stay a little longer and Tim flat out offered to support me for "as long as  I wanted" but also knew I wouldn't be happy just living off him (he's so right. I have a fierce independent streak).  I cried.  No one has ever said to me that they want to have me around like that!

...so where's my ring?  ;)

awww Anna he wants you around....of course he wants you around...he loves you...yay for you....I am sure the ring will follow...I am so happy for you...there is nothing wrong with being independent but in the beginning so you can be together you may have to let him support you..

I just wanted to let you know that Jason called me this morning and we are going to talk on Saturday about all that went on...so who knows what will happen...but we had a good little talk this morning so that is a good first step...

Oh a great sappy romantic Christmas Movie is "The Christmas List" I believe it is on Hallmark or Lifetime...where the perfume lady in the dept store wins a car and has to share it with this guy...it is soooo goood

Yay, I'm so glad you're going to talk ...hopefully all is well and he just was busy or thinking or something.

*nods* yeah, It all will depend on what we decide to do...I'm thinking I won't stay much past New Years so I can go home and start earning money again to fund another visit...or move.  Both of us are kind of frustrated that it's just not as simple as "you move in with me" the way it would be in other situations...I think he knows what he has to do for us to be together, and I think it's just him being silly and scared.  IF it was possible to just "move in" with him, I'd be here in a heartbeat.

And as wimpy as this sounds....I don't know what I'll do when I do go home and have to wait to see him again.  I know all of you completely understand what I mean!

Josy - I am so glad to hear that you and Jason had a chat this morning (even if it was just a short one).  Please let us know what happens on Saturday when you have a longer talk. We're all thinking extra happy thoughts for you!  Now you know I will have to find this Christmas List movie... Maybe they have it on Netflix :)

Anna - that is wonderful!  Stay until the first week of January, then have him come to the States for a quicky wedding and you could be there for good by Spring! Woo!
I am glad you are feeling better.  Was this the first time you had been to London?  There is just such a special atmosphere in the city, dont you think??  Ahhh I miss the smell of the tube and strolling around Covent Garden.

Wonky is a perfect word of the day.  I use it all the time!

Yay Anna! Though, I'm not sure I can approve of you missing John Simm's new show!! (I LOVE John Simm. Almost as much as I love Jude! LOL) Hehe. I hope it all works out soon for you. Missing someone far away is no fun at all!

JEP- GREAT news!! Communication is so important. If he's willing to talk, then I'd bet things will be going well in the end. :) Chin up!

Ok, back to work. But I am making a list of these movies. Gonna have to update the Netflix list! LOL

I love the word wonky! :D

I was in London on a school trip in 1997 and we did a whirlwind 2 days of Westminster Abby, Tower of London, Tate, etc., so this was my first time as an adult other than when I landed at Heathrow! I loved it, and I think if Tim didn't live up here in Lincoln, I'd want to live there.

LOL on the quicky wedding!  I'm not sure how pleased my mom would be about that though!  (and I need 6 months to get Will (my cat) all squared away with a chip because he'd claw me to death if I left him quarantined for 6 months)

Never visited Chipotle but Burrito's and Taco's are a fond memory of both my visits to Denver, especially the Mexican "greasy spoon"  Jamie's dad took us to so that I could experience authentic mexican food!
The whole thing was great, dirty floors, no service, chipped cups... but great food!!! In England you would call it "bog roll in the fridge" food. (hot going in hot going out) hahaha

Sorry but out of my depth with the "swooning" over male actors stuff...so i will leave that to you lot...

London was the one place Jamie wanted to visit when she came here in July but we didn't manage it. I will be taking her to London in the New Year for a birthday treat
