Awww wooo!   OMG Jamie you will love London - I just cannot explain the atmosphere/air/feeling of the city, but its wonderful!  As cliche as this may be, I think the Tower Bridge is my #1 favourite place in the world.  For whatever reason, I could sit on the side of the Thames and look at the Bridge for hours.  I am going to be sure to figure out a time when it opens for a tall ship and go see that!

One thing I have never seen is London in the summer and I bet that is even better!

Alan, have you been to the Texas Embassy?  You can take Jamie there for some good American-ness in the heart of London.

Hmph!  They have no idea.  I was listening to that song "Hey There Deliliah" on the way to work this morning and its just like he says "our friends would all make fun of us and we'll just laugh along because we know that none of them have felt this way".

I need a David hug today.  Jamie, will you dress up like David and fake an accent and come hug me?? :)

The Texas embassy duly noted but isn't that like Jamie and her mum taking me to "The British Bulldog" pub in Denver for some Britishness?

...mind you the look on the waitresses face when I tried to pay with a £20 note was worth it!

We don't accept foreign currency, sorry...I said but it's British?

Ooh the irony hahaha

Absolutely:) hahah but there might be a problem....I already put on perfume today and that could potentially cause problems  ;)

And no they have not felt this way or gone through anything similar and they are starting to make it hard for me.  it's almost like they are making it easier for me to leave just to get away from it all.  I think the hardest thing I've ever done in my life so far is standing in front of people that I love while they are "greiving" for me.  I was told last night that it's whats happening.  "I am just feeling the loss of you and don't know hoe to deal with you leaving...I don't want you to go" And "why did Alan come so close to you leaving you should be spending time with us" I'm like thanks.

OK rant over thanks girls ...sorry

LOL the British Bulldog!  I love that place, but it really is a poor representation of a British pub. Although a lot better than the Streets of London Pub. Did she drag you into that place?? It can be a little scary. Everyone seems to think they are Sid Vicious

Paying with a 20 pound note  (why can I not make pound signs on my keyboard!?) is totally something David would do.  You boys think you are so funny :)

And, yes, I suppose it is like that, so we'll save it for our Girls Night 4th of July.  They throw a huge party there, and I bet its awesome!  Bring on the red, white and blue sequins!

Sorry Alan... I'll find someone else to hug  [smiley=disappointed.gif]

Wow - who said THAT Jamie!?!

I made a vlog at Stonehenge for a friend of mine who likes to make silly vlogs.

The comment I keep getting IMed?

"Tim's Accent = DROOL"

at least three of my friends have all said the same to me. LOL

the question is who didn't say that! LOL actually it is just 2 friends that are being really bad the other 1 is being ok...just the occasional cry/hug thing....and then my mom and my best friend are bring the BEST ever thank GOD becuase I would freaking loose it for sure if those too were being a**holes too.

The british bulldog was funny (the food sucks though) and the waitress looked at Alan like he was an alien hahahhaa my mom and I laughed till we cried.

And it's ok Carey I'll give you a hug...don't worry he'll survive.

OH and I just have to point out, Beth, you will make a fabulous Brit telling people to "chin up".  I HATE IT when David says that, but its like all the sympathy/support/pity he can muster sometimes.  Its either "chin up" or the even worse "you'll be alright".  What is it with that?  Do all Brits lack the ability to shower others with pity??  Americans are so good at at least faking it.. why can't the Brits catch on to that?

LOL Sorry Carey! Don't we say that here, too? I don't even know anymore sometimes. I said "straight away" to some parents in a conference this morning.

We do say "chin up" here - thats true.

3 Random Thoughts:
1. Is anyone else jealous they cant go to the 20% off mega sale at Marks & Spencer today?
2. I just bashed my knee on my desk and am walking a bit WONKY!
3. There is police action outside my window!
