Haha Carey! Thanks for the dream interpretation! I was taking it much more literally I guess! I like the thought of not worrying about money. If I do win the lottery (which a friend of mine just said to me today when we were talking about my moving over not going easily) drinks for everyone, for sure!! :)

I like the idea of hugging a donkey. I love animals!

Josy- I don't know how to drive in the snow. But I'm from GA. Does that still make me a tosser? :(

BTW, I caught the british student (from Wembley) teaching an american student today to say "you're a bloody wanker!" Of course I told him that even though the other american teachers don't know what that means, I do and to watch what he says at school!! LOL

Inside, I was thinking about our word of the day! LOL

HAHA bloody wanker coming from a kid cracks me up!

I've always had a wish to hug a cow, so sometimes when I see them in fields around here, I'll stop the car and get out and slowly go up to the fence to see if they will be my friend and they always run away. :(   I'm a vegetarian, they should like me!!!

David says he knows of another place we can find donkeys, so I now have 3 goals for my upcoming trip to England:
1. Hug a donkey! (or a sheep!)
2. Get engaged
3. Not close my eyes out of fear when riding in the car!

We'll see how I get on.

Carey...if and when Jason and I work everything out and I get my visa I will be living in Devon so I will def hug a donkey for you....

I think since we have a british word of the day that Alan should have to use the American equivalent everyday to better improve his american accent.....

Jamie will be so acclimated that she will be the welcome wagon when we all come over and she will help us get settled and teach us the ways....

Beth look at you being the mean teacher...the one that knows everything lol

Carey I am a little worried that hugging a donkey is higher on your list then getting engaged

Beth you are certainly not a tosser...I meant the people here who live in the north with me on the East coast that should know what snow is and how to drive in it...especially flurries lol

Josy- phew! I was a little worried. Snow (even flurries) close down the city!! They don't even know how to drive when it's raining!

Carey- I'm veggie too!!!

Awesome Josy!  Donkey hugging time!  ...and hugging donkeys is not higher on my list, just more probable.  In fact, a talking donkey might be more probable at this point!  :P

Sadly, there isnt a good american equivilant to daft is there??  Maybe something like "stupid"? (in the slangy un-PC way, not the technicaly way).  Alan, try the sentence  "that was totally stupid" and see how goes over!

Horray for the veggies!  I just saw on the news that PETA was giving out free tofurkeys on the street yesterday, and I missed it!  BOOO!  I love tofurkey.

1. Hug a donkey! (or a sheep!)

Now point No.1 and an important one, a lady hugging a sheep can be dismissed easily as she just loves animals but if a man is caught hugging a sheep...just don't go there!!!

Point No.2 Make sure it's a healthy donkey because a lady hugging a wonky donkey just looks daft

Point No.3 On being veggie, if we're not supposed to eat animals why are they made out of meat? hahaha only joking!

1. David wouldnt hug a sheep or a donkey and he will take the piss out of me for being so daft, but I must do it!   ... and he will take pictures!

2. Wonky donkeys need love too!

3. You're lucky I like you - I will let you get away with that one

I'm going to see Coldplay tonight!

Beth I would never think you are a tosser....I am sure if you guys got snow they wouldn't know what to do...I can't imagine never seeing snow...that is strange to me

so what is everyone doing this weekend

Carey is going to see Coldplay
I am going to see Twilight....

A friend from high school's on her way home to Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving and has decided to stop in DC to visit me and another friend from high school who is at a uni across the city.  Definitely will make up for the fact that I won't be going back to Pennsylvania until Tuesday night  :(

I think Coldplay would be better right now, though. I'm definitely jealous.

I'm going to see Coldplay tonight!

Hmmm not bad, although not my cup of tea...

How about Peter and the Test Tube Babies at the Thatched House, Stockport, UK. a week tonight?

I only wish Jamie was going to be here so I could show her that the punk scene is alive and kicking still...but there's time for that!
