By the way, I cannot believe that in all this talk of romantic storylines, I have not once brought up what I think is the most romantic story of all time: Phantom of the Opera. I assume everyone knows the story even if they have not seen the theatre or movie version.  Am I the only one who deep inside wishes that she would pick the Phantom over Raoul?  The Phantom loved her even before she had a beautiful voice and was famous. Raoul didnt even remember her until he heard her sing. "He was bound to love you when he heard you sing"   aww poor Phantom...   What a beautiful story.

Carey- have you read the book? It's soooooo much better than the musical or movie! And I always hope she'd choose the Phantom!

Yay! 45 mins till school's out for the break! Of course I have 2 hours of tutoring after work to do before I get to officially go home.

Carey I completely agree with you...Phantom of the Opera is very very romantic...I always wished she'd pick him over Raoul..(I loved Gerard Butler as the phantom).the other show with a very romantic storyline is Les Miserable...Eponine loves Marius and takes a bullet for him ..and being the stupid boy he is he never knows she loves him until she dies in his arms...I love the underdog lol

Hi Josy! Getting there....just moving the last of my things to my moms house...then the week after next I will lay everything out and decide what I need and what can be shipped later.  the butterfly's in my belly are going crazy...anticipation, excitement, a little sad I guess mostly for my family.  Everything normal I'm "asssuming' Hate that word.

Getting married in January pobably the 10th....then again in Sept. 2010

I've not read the book - I'm not much of a reader, but maybe I'll take it with me on then plane to England
I've also never seen Les Miserable, but must now that I know its a lovey dovey story. I'm always afraid I wont "get" the theatre, but always like it when I actually go.

I'll most likely still be in the US in August, so I'd love to come to a Ameri-Brit wedding! Where in PA are you?  I had a BF in Hershey once - what a jerk he turned out to be!

August 29th is the day after my 30th birthday, and 2 days before Tim's 39th, so if we're in the US celebrating, we'll be there   It's such a short/cheap train ride for me to get into Paoli station. When I get back to the US, we'll have to have a get together somewhere

I'm still reading ladies...but it's become a total "ladies" thread for me! Keep up the chit chat and maybe when the conversation returns to pubs and booze I'll be back haha...

By the way, it's really funny to listen to Irish people try to say "Schuylkill" (it's Skool-kill for those not from the area)....it will never get old!
