Awww...I'm a bit jealous actually, Jamie. :p Buuuttt....UBER excited for you at the same time.
So, I need a quick vent, and I apologise in advance for doing so...but my fiance could potentially be pretty ill. He has type 2 diabetes, and the day after I left England he had an eye test done. They didn't like what they found (the nerves behind his eyes are swollen), so he had a brain scan done, few more visits to the Dr., and long story short, he got a letter from the hospital setting up an appointment with a neurologist. So, that was supposed to be in Jan, but he got ANOTHER letter last week saying they wanted to push it up to Dec. 8th. He didn't want to/couldn't do it because of work, but the neurology office's secretary called him and said "You HAVE to make it on the 8th, if you don't it could be VERY detremental to your health."
Soooo.....I'm flipping out a bit. Ian is all "I want one week of 'normalcy' until I find out," but, if things are bad I don't know what we're going to do. I know we might be jumping the gun a bit, but would a Dr's office say that to someone if it was good news?? And I had just booked the date at the courthouse for he and I to get married, and I booked the restaurant for our wedding dinner.
Just wanted your opinions because I can vent to my friends, but they don't understand fully how hard it is being away from the one they love when things like this are happening.
Thanks, ladies....xx
