I definetely hope to see you again if/when I make my move to England. Horoscopes that suggest getting engaged?  Are either of you Virgos?  Tim and I are BOTH Virgos (our birthdays are 8 years and 362 days apart!), so if it says Virgos are getting engaged...

I need to share something adorable from today -

We were in a housewares store..something that starts with D to get some throw blankets to try to cover up the fact that his sofa has a huge rip in the arm, and we passed this pink lamp and I pointed out that I thought it was "pretty".  He told me I wasn't allowed to put that in *our* bedroom...and we had a chat today about finding room for my stuff and about the importance of matching (pretty!) dishes....he still doesn't get the dishes thing, though.  He said "but they're functional and you put food on them anyway to cover the design" *shakes head*. It's such a shame British couples don't do the whole bridal registry/shower thing.   

Alan is right..someday soon we will all be in England having a big party...because Jamie and Alan are married and living happily ever after...because Carey and David are finally engaged and living together...because Becca and Tim are together and happy...because Patty and Ian are married and living happily ever after like Alan and Jamie..and because maybe finally the will let me into England to be with Jason...and Beth will be there because she finally made it to London and anyone else on here whom I forgot to mention...we will have one really big party and it will be the best because we have all waited years for this....

I also agree with Alan on keeping this thread going...it was a great suggestion Quarter about the PM and thanks for looking out for us...but this thread has become an addiction that has gotten me thru some hard times...it is nice to have a place to come where I can tell people how I feel and know that my friends are here...we may have never met face to face but we all have a common bond...and I look forward to coming here everyday and talking to everyone ...and living vicariously thru others...I like that I can be here for people like they were there for me when I am having bad times...

Also one bit of Christmas news...my future mother in law sent me a Christmas gift and I got it today...it made my day...she must like me if I got a present lol

No wonder we get along so well. I'm a pisces! Pisces and virgos/libras/capricorns are good matches (romantic or friendly..) My dad and brother are both virgos!

Work is getting to be insane since my co-worker is out and we just started all our holiday parties at the nursing home last night.  Annnnddd....I can barely do my activities because my voice is all messed up from the cold I've had since last week...time to call the Dr. and get some antibiotics now! lol  I just can't win, can I?

MIne was quite dire!! Telling me something bad was going to happen to my home or family over the next 3 days and that I'd have to make a decision quickly. It will be something very unexpected!

Of course, it was also saying that the beginning of the month would be great for me at work, blah blah blah... which was NOT true at all!

I'm supposed to have a friend do something nice for me on the 24th and 26th and go to a lavish party for New Year's (yeah right!) Was quite thorough, though, I must say!
