Yorkshire book club meeting November 1st!
« on: October 27, 2008, 12:24:58 PM »
Hi :)  Just wanted to remind everyone that the first Yorkshire book club meeting is this Saturday at 3:00 in Harrogate.  I can meet you at the train station or the cafe, though I think the train station would be easier :)

The cafe is called Milan's and it is near Debenham's, down the street from Betty's Tea Room.  It has wonderful coffee and espresso, great pastries and food, and a lovely atmosphere :)  Comfy chairs as well!

Can't wait to meet you all :)  I will send out my mobile number to everyone in a PM tonight-please let me know if I don't send it to you and you need it!

See you Saturday!!

I'm planning on the train that gets in at 14:43 - will that be enough time, and if so, will you be able to meet me?  I've never been to Harrogate! :D

Not a problem!  I will be there with bells on :)

If anyone else wants to meet at the station, can you make it around that time?  It is about a 5-8 minute walk from the station to the coffee shop...

Persephone, you'll be missed!  See you in December and have loads of fun in France!!

Mrs. R, am I meeting you at the station too?  Can't remember!   ;)

I can't remember either!  I can find my way to the place alright, but if everyone else is at the station - that might be the place to be.  Either way is fine!  :)

Not sure as to how many are coming but my direction giving skills are limited so we may just want to meet at the station and go together!  I don't want anyone getting lost on account of me!!

You're more than welcome to come :)

My train will get there about half two.  But I might come earlier & do a bit of shopping if I get up & around early enough.  :)

Just let me know what time you are in and if you want to meet up earlier!  :)

I'll be the 50year old with dark blonde-ish hair.  If it's not too cold I'll be in a red SUFC fleece.  If the temp is dropping I'll be in black.   8)

I'll meet the (mostly) red coat brigade at the Cafe, and if it's not too cold I'll be different and wear a bright blue jacket!  If it is cold, I'll be in beige.

Note to self: Must go shopping for more vibrantly colored warm coat.
