Your Food Heaven and Hell
« on: October 28, 2008, 07:58:31 PM »
The parsnip thread made me think to start this one. :P

If you were on Saturday Kitchen and had to name your food heaven and your food hell, what would they be? (This would be a food or ingredient, not a complete dish)

Mine are:

Food Heaven - Lobster

Food Hell - Tuna steak (or really any fish like that :-X)

Not parsnips for me actually, but celery.  I can eat parsnips, I just don't like them.  Celery actually makes me retch (sorry if that is TMI)

For my heaven...James Martin in Chocolate sauce!   ;)

Seriously though....heaven is tricky.  Pasta I would say.  I love pasta, I could eat it every day.  In fact, I'm about to make some now.  Even though I only had pasta on Sunday  :-\\\\

Hmmmm. Really hard.

Today I'd have to say Food Heaven - chocolate pudding cake, Hell - raw onions.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Food Heaven: raw tuna
Food Hell: Scallops, but I don't hate them, I'm just not crazy about them and I've had them over cooked and undercooked and now I don't trust them.
