i am still going crazy! this is the 12th business day after i got my original confirmation email, which suggested a turnaround time of 3 days! i was actually supposed to leave today based on their projection but, luckily, booked refundable airfare.

furniture is on ships, a dog is waiting to fly before it gets too cold, i need a job...

but a hot cider is doing the trick right now. *sanity*
The economy fell apart. Then we moved to Brighton. Disappointing- yes. Any regrets? No. I am interested in meeting Sussex people and any other souls that have a shared mission of getting to know the rest of the world better. My Blog: daveavenue.

Was your application straight-forward?  I haven't heard about mine either (day 7 when I was told it would only take 5) but I have a failed entry clearance, so I'm guessing that's why it's taking a little longer?

I hope you hear something good, real soon! :)

Congratulations, that's awesome!

I got a call from my courier today--apparently the consulate is looking into my 'immigration issues', which I'm assuming has to do with my detainment at Heathrow last May.  The courier said it'll probably take another week before I hear something more, which is making me all kinds of nervous.  :-\\\\
