Little Dorrit

Is anyone watching? I've downloaded the first two episodes, but haven't watched them yet. However, I just read a horrendous review, so now I'm wondering if it's even worth it! Anyone?

I watched the first episode last Sunday, I think.  I looked for the second episode this Sunday and found it on Wednesday. ??? From what you've said, I'm assuming I somehow missed the second episode and this will be the third episode on Wednesday?

I can't keep up with changing TV schedules.  If it's always on the same day and time I have a fighting chance of watching it all.

For what it's worth, I thought the first episode was OK.  I haven't read the book of Little Dorrit, or seen any other production of it, so it was all new to me.  If I get organized before Wednesday I can try to watch Episode 2 before the third one comes on.  Otherwise I'll just skip that one and carry on.

I don't know when episode two aired. I never watch when it's on; I just download stuff from the BBC iPlayer.

Yeah, I should do that more.  It's just that I usually watch TV while ironing, and it's harder to watch a laptop screen.

Have you watched any yet?  What did you think?  Have you read the book?

I don't think I'll have time to watch episode two today, but I'll probably watch episode three tonight.

No, I still haven't watched. I've been a bit preoccupied with watching CNN! LOL! And I've never read it either.  :-\\\\

I've seen all three segments now. I think it's on twice a week, Wednesday and Thursday at.. 8??

I found it a bit slow at first, but thought last night's episode a bit better. I absolutely love Matthew Macfadyen though, so I'm probably too biased.

There was an excellent film version made some years ago and just released on DVD, starring Derek Jacobi, so I wasn't sure how this would compare, but so far it looks pretty good. It's one of my favourite Dickens novels.
