Does anyone know if Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance dog food is available in the UK or know of something comparable? Can we ship dog food/snacks with our household shipping? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I'm not in the UK yet, so I don't know about the availability of Natural Balance, but I know that a lot of people on this board have recommended www.zooplus.co.uk for their pet needs.  They stock a lot of American brands (Eagle Pack is probably the closest I know to Natural Balance), and I don't see NB on there.  It might give you a better sense of what is available, though.

Oh man, I am dealing with this as well.

My cats eat the feline version of Natural Balance, and I called their customer service line to ask about availability in the UK and they told me it is not available there.  Definite bummer, since the cats will be stressed enough without a potential food change.

Our shipper told us it was fine to ship cat food and snacks with our other items.  Obviously, double check with your shipper and stuff, but that was my experience.  We're packing one of our suitcases with cat food, too, so they have stuff to eat immediately.

Thank you so much for all of the info! I've done some more checking and Orijen looks like a very good posibility. Have any of you tried this brand? I'm going to ship some nutri-dent bones and a try some of the Orijen at this end first.

I'm try to find something comparable to Solid Gold?

Does this Orijen use yellow corn or by-products?

Thanks!
