My cousin's on BBC1 tonight!
« on: November 04, 2008, 04:08:59 PM »
I just found out that my cousin is going to be on tonight's episode of My Family at War at 10:30pm on BBC1! He builds full-size historically accurate replicas of WWI planes, so I think that's what he's talking about.  :D

That's really cool!!
Even after all this time the sun never says to the Earth "You owe me."
Look what happens with a love like that, it lights the whole sky.

Hey, that's interesting Chary!  I was watching last night and saw the replicas of WWI aircraft.  I assume the man they interviewed was your cousin?  Does he build those as a profession or for a hobby?

It started as a hobby, but they (he and a friend do it) have actually sold a couple of planes! One was to someone famous ... I can't remember who ... maybe George Lucas? Maybe not, but someone like that. The thing is that the both have "real" jobs so it takes them a long time to build a plane doing it on weekends, holidays, etc.
