yep, you can find it everywhere.  I use it all the time as it's a major ingredient in macaroni pie (as made in the Caribbean! Yum.)

Ohhhh...recipe please!!

Macaroni Pie

8 ounces (225 g) macaroni
2 eggs
2 cups grated cheese (cheddar works well)
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp white pepper

Boil macaroni until tender, drain.
Beat eggs until fluffy.
Combine macaroni, eggs, cheese, milk, salt and pepper.
Pour in greased baking dish and bake at 350F until firm (approx 30 minutes)

That's the basic recipe- yummy variations include adding grated onion, carrots, chopped herbs or tomato to the mixture!  Other vegetables would work too- I've been meaning to try it with spinach....

Ooh, sounds delish!  Thanx for sharing!  Does it taste alright if you omit the salt?  (Just thinking of DD here.)   ;)
