chit chat board

Why are there no messages at all on pages 24-53 of the Chit Chat board, but then a few messages on page 54?    Also, no chit chat predating December of 2007?  Was there no Chit Chat board before then?

It's no big deal.  I'm just curious. 

If there are pages with no messages, it would be due to miscalculation or corruption in the data. As the amount of posts/topics increases, it is harder for the software to count and sort them. The number of posts are periodically pruned to help the software cope. (Missing pages incidates a need for some database maintenance again, thanks for letting me know!)

Chit chat is one of our lesser important categories to keep around indefinitely. Other information gets outdated over the years, so it is logical to remove the old content periodically.
