Can you travel to Paris on it?  I dont knw. PLEASE let me know so I can decide what to do. COS i wanna have fun, but i wanna be productive and make the most of my trip as well.
 THANK U
PS i got all the info on what NOT to say to Immigration at customs but i want to know what things i can do to keep busy and out of the way.

Hi Shala

Check out Uk Visas website for details of what you can and can't do while here as a visitor:

http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/servlet/Front?pagename=OpenMarket/Xcelerate/ShowPage&c=Page&cid=1018696642519#Q10

And no a UK visa will not get you into France, you will need to check out their visa requirements. You can probably go visa free if you are just going on holiday and have a return ticket.

Hope this helps,

Liz

You are allowed to take classes while you are there- aerobics, yoga, cooking, whatever....

Sight- see all you want. Just make sure you have a round-trip ticket as  said by Britwife.

You say you want to go places - why not check out various parts of the UK?  It saves having to worry about being denied entry every time you re-enter the country, and there are loads of nice spots to spend a day/weekend/week! Also, I highly recommend looking into local adult education classes - here in Birmingham they tend to cost around £30 per semester.  They're a great way to meet people, and some of the classes look like a lot of fun (wine-tasting, for example  :D).  My last bit of advice, as someone who was here for 5 months without working, is make sure you get out of the house!  Daytime TV is veeerry addictive ;D

I spent 4 months over there with my girlfriend.  There is plenty to do if you have some spare money.  And with that whole tv thing its true the daytime tv is addicting then they play it again at night.  I have never watched American soaps but coronation street and eastenders were much better than any soaps I've flicked through in the US.  I was fortunate to be there when Dirty Dan came back and when the "king of plonkerdom" (lol) got married on christmas.  Ok so yeah be careful cause it can be addicting.  That is unless you like people to end up happy the chances of someone being happy on the soaps are about %.00001.
