Love football? Enjoy writing? Then why not consider participating in a group weblog on Euro 2004! It doesn't matter which team you support -- the more, the merrier! We currently have three people who have agreed to participate, but welcome other writers/fans.
You don't have to watch every game nor will you have to comment on each game. You can write about anything so long as it's Euro 2004 related. For instance, you could write:
- Match reports
- Team analysis
- Predictions
- Commentary on interesting news stories related to the competition
- If you are a fan outside of Europe, perhaps you could write about the difficulties of following the competition from your country.
- Light-hearted or amusing articles about any aspect of the competition, being a fan, or how the fans are behaving in your country. Are they quirky, over the top? Has your neighbour just painted his house to resemble St George's flag?
This is not about technical writing; however, you are welcome to post technical analysis of the games. Instead, it's more about fans coming together to celebrate the competition and share enjoyment of the beautiful game.
If you decide to participate, I will supply you with an online login name and password. You then log into the site and compose your articles there -- with software as easy to use as MS Word (easier, in fact). Once you are finished writing, hit the 'publish' button and it will appear on the website. Easy-peasy. No HTML or technical knowledge necessary.
