I saw them yesterday at the two Starbucks at Westfield Derby. I personally am not a fan of egg nog...prefer the peppermint mocha!

I knew they would be back on Dec 1st because I called their UK customer services who told me this. The stupid morons at starbucks weren't even advertising the fact that the eggnog lattes were back though. No posters, no menu listing, nada.

To be safe I would call your local branch before you go but I was told they were available nationwide.

They will apparently only be available for a limited time so get them while you can! I was told that once each store runs out of its initial delivery of eggnog that's it, no more eggnog lattes at that branch!

Anyone seen their local branch of Starbucks advertising the return of the eggnog? I'm thinking of ringing Starbucks to give them an earful about this! :P

There were about 4 posters of the 3 holiday drinks, Egg Nog Latte, Gingerbread and one other one I forgot. This was in Derby.

My local Starbucks doesnt have the eggnog one... they've got gingerbread latte, dark cherry mocha and toffee nut latte.   The good news is that they're selling the bottles of the gingerbread syrup so that you can drink gingerbread lattes all year round!  :)

How different is the gingerbread to regular cinnamon?

I'd love to try an eggnog one, but I didn't see it in any of the three starbucks in town :(

I was a glutton for the pumpkin pie lattes when I went back to the US recently since I knew they wouldn't make it here.  Has anyone else tried making their own homemade eggnog?  It's pretty easy.  Although it needs a drop of booze - I was genuinely shocked to find that when I made it at home here, it didn't taste like the nonalcoholic stuff I was used to until I added alcohol!!
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

My Starbucks told me this morning that they only have limited stocks this year beacuse its not overly popular in the UK, last year they had so much wastage of the Egg Nog syrupy stuff that they didn't send much out. They are trying to get more, but as of now, when its gone its gone.

Me! I agree about the alcohol--I think they might use rum flavouring in the commercial kind.

Having perfected custard-making in the past year, eggnog will be much less intimidating this Christmas. :D

If it weren't for the raw egg ban I'm under at the moment, I would be so there with you - I love eggnog!!

well, ginger and cinnamon are 2 different spices, so... i guess that's the difference.  I didnt look at the ingredients list.. i just saw it and made a mental note that i need to buy a bottle before it disappears.  It was £3.50.
