US Tax Professionals in the UK?

I've been advised by the IRS that I need help with my tax return.  I seem to have made a couple stupid errors and they won't tell me yes or no what I've done wrong.  I've since been sent a bill in the post for about $200+.  I understand where one of the errors is on my 1040 (a simple stupid error) but they won't tell me how I can ammend it and told me I'm an idiot and to basically just pay the IRS or find a tax professional, but strongly leaned on me to just pay the bill.

I know a few people on here are US tax experts, can someone recommend someone or help?

Meh I give up.  Can't be bothered to try and do this at Christmas time.  DH & I talked about it and we're just going to use the stimulus payment and pay it off and be done with it.
