Well, I didn't do it this way, but many others have.  From what I understand (and no doubt someone will correct me if I am wrong!) you would then apply for Further Leave to Remain after your wedding.  You may have to wait a while for processing, from what others have posted on here.  Once that is sorted, you can work and everything as usual, and I believe you would then apply for your Indefinite Leave to Remain 2 years from the date the FLR is issued.  Hopefully someone else will jump in here....

Subject to the laws in place at the time, after marriage,
apply for FLR(M) (285),
satisfy the KOL (33B-33F) requirements and
subsequently apply for SET(M) (288).
Read the forms (especially SET(M)) (and any updates) ASAP.

If you apply to do your FLR(M) in person (which you may as well with biometrics in full-swing), and you already know the date you are getting married, I would suggest calling the PEO now to book your appointment. I called mine in early October to book it for the Monday following our wedding (in November) since everything was getting busy with the new measures with biometrics. Not sure if I would have been able to book it as soon if I wouldn't have called until after we were married.

Ha!  When I saw Jamie's post this morning, I sent her a PM suggesting to talk to you, Meg, since I know you JUST went through the FLR process.

Good to know you read this! :)
