Unfortunately, my camera isn't working so I'll do my best to be descriptive...

Mine has pictures of women holding umbrellas (clever, right?) and large shapes that I think are supposed gemstones.  The colors manage to be garish and muddy at the same time.  The worst part is that the outlines and the colors don't match up so the whole thing is a bit...um...blurry.

I really shouldn't complain though, my wish was granted this year -- I have a Visa -- best gift ever!

A horrendous tool kit! It is very flowery in a "little old lady" kind of way.

Shugga and Yael, you gave me an idea!  [smiley=bulb.gif]  Maybe we should have a swap of unwanted Christmas presents--someone's unwanted gift is someone else's really nice gift!

Today my MIL gave me People Magazine's "The Best & Worst of the Year" yearbook.

From 2007.

That's actually a really good idea!

I have (get this) FOUR different body creams and three shower gels and four shampoos from my MIL that I will never use. She was unusually restrained this year - it's usually twice that.

Sha also gave us pickled mussels, clam chowder, and a bottle of ketchup. All wrapped up. Why?!
Ok, so I'm smug.

LOL.  I was seriously about to get on here earlier today and ask what to do with worst gifts?   ;D

Worst gifts have gone to the whole family from MIL's cousin:

We got hand towels & crappy tea, coffee ?? set (very nasty)

MIL got a horse bank (with no stopper) and said that it was a badger on the bottom of it.  She says its going to get broken as it hits the dustbin   ???

SIL got hand towels and God knows what, but she said it was already broken...

DD got a really nasty (material) blanket

We've figured out that she did her Xmas shopping at Church Bingo  (no joke)   :-\\\\  :P

Wow, Teletabby! I think your family wins the worst presents of the year award!

Dibs on the chowder!!!! :)
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

Until we see london4me's umbrella, I think the prize has to go to Yael. That is truly hideous.

I didn't get any horrible gifts this year.

Two years ago I got a square, folded in half, with magnets in the middle. It had a monogrammed M on it. None of my names start with an M. And I'm still not really sure what it was for.  :P That same relative gave me  a muppets sing along vhs.  Ummm thanks - I would have loved that when I was about 5.

Every year I get bath and body works stuff, even from people who know I'm allergic to it.  ::)

The only odd thing this year was that my grandmother wrote "from mom and dad" on most of my gifts from them.  ???
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." ~Mark Twain
