What is everyone doing for New Years?

We usually just sit home and watch it on TV - this year we may have some of DD's cousins stay over.

What are your plans?

Probably just sit at home with the kids.  That's what we've been doing for the past few years.  When I was in my 20's I had to go out.  Now, I don't mind staying inside.  It's usually too cold and I don't like driving on New Year's Eve.

This year we're having our two best friends to the house, going to drink a nice bottle or two of wine and probably play SingStar on the Playstation lol.

I've been sitting in at home on Hogmanay for the last 10 years, so think i might actually go out this year.

Nothing. It's a source of some disagreement. We're going up to Pembrokeshire on the 27th and I'd hoped to stay through New Year's, but HE insists on coming back to damned Cornwall on the 29th. So no doubt we'll do absolutely nothing, instead of going to a lovely party with all my lovely friends.  >:(

Do you want me to talk to him?  I'll smack some sense into him!

This is the first time that I can remember not having plans.  Hogmanay means more to me than Christmas...but I have 3 pregnant friends and 2 absent friends so have no plans.  :o

We were invited to a party, but I think I'd rather stay home.  I think a couple of friends will join us as well.

DF and I have a tradition of cooking lobster and other yummy things and just staying in. I'll drink enough champagne for both of us and we'll play Lips and Guitar Hero. I like to watch the Jools Holland special too.
