Colin Firth fem?  Not that I find him particularly attractive...  And find me a man who doesn't think Angelina Jolie is beautiful...

She's okay, I guess... I certainly wouldn't refuse her (then again, the list of women I'd refuse (on a strictly physical attractiveness basis) is rather short), but I can think of so much better.

I know men who don't think Angelina is beatiful.

She has very strong facial features - some people find that very attractive in a woman; some prefer more rounder, muted delicate features. I've heard women say she is downright ugly,

The same with men - some people are attracted to men with more "feminine!" features, long, dark lashes, thin, well-defined cheekbones, narrow jaw etc., while some like a more "rugged, manly" look.

One that I just don't understand is Sarah Jessica Parker.  The media present her as though she is one of the most beautiful celebrities around and I think she is extremely unattractive.

I'd take Angelina before I touched Colin with a ten-foot barge pole.  He's just so sissy, frou frou like.  Yuk.  I don't dig posh SE accents, they sound like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Gimma Sean Bean with full-on Yorkshire accent ANY day over the Colins of this world.

Sean Bean was filming Robinson Crusoe on the other side of the river from my office building earlier this year and work stopped as almost every woman in the place ran to the window to look at him and then decided that they needed to go outside for an early lunch   ;)

Also, as we get older our tastes change.  And usually when we love someone they are very attractive in our eyes despite receding hairlines, off-centre teeth or any other host of imperfections that have been mentioned already.  Love and attraction more often than not can take us by complete surprise!

Sweetpeach- totally agree about Sarah Jessica Parker. She looks like a horse in a fancy dress. Mean, I know, but I don't think she's pretty at all....

I find both attractive, though obviously I think DH (Englishman from the North) is the hottest... and no, he isn't looking over my shoulder as I am typing this!   :P
I like the Geordie and Scottish accents better than the posh Hugh Grant sounding ones... but to each their own!  I have always been most attracted to people with a good sense of humor, great laugh, and friendly eyes, and they can be found anywhere!
BTW, DH doesn't think Angelina is hot at all... mainly because he thinks she is a freak.  I think she is attractive, but not as beautiful as some.

Neither does mine.  He says she has eyes like a snake and that she gives him the shudders (not in a good way).
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

Ahh--I will have to look at her more closely!

Agree with you Jewlz about a great sense of humor and friendly eyes!  My hubby has both!  [smiley=smitten.gif]

expat, have you seen Pride and Prejudice? I think that's the film that makes most people fall in love with Colin.

Well if she thinks Colin Firth is fem, chances are Jane Austen dramas arent really going to float her boat..

I just sprayed Coke all over the keyboard!  LOL!  Too right.

I cannot stand Jane Austen books or films.  I was forced to watch some of that Pride and Prejudice tosh by my sappy sister and I've found some rats in Edinburgh more attractive than Colin Frith.

Poncey blokes in ruffles or suits just don't do it for me.  ;)
