Chary- I meant the big, muscle-y body builder/(american) football player look.

So you meant 'beefcake'?

Ha! Yes, that's it. I knew it didn't sound quite right... lol I'm vegetarian so I don't eat either of them. ;)

"Beefstock" made me think that you're attracted to men who like to cook.

ETA: Come to think of it, is there such a thing as a literal beefcake - a cake made of beef? The closest I can think of is a meat pie?

LOL I was thinking the same thing. What *is* a beefcake? Hamburger without the bun?

I think "beef stock" came from me combining stocky and beefy/beefcake!

IIRC, 'beefcake' is the male version of 'cheesecake', which is what they used to call pin up models in WWII. I guess beef sounded manlier?

I like David Tennant for the simple fact that he chose 'Tennant' as his stage name because of Pet Shop Boys.
If we called them Sad Meals, no one would buy them.

OK. So you're saying he's ugly.. I've never been to Paisley so I am guessing that it's full of guys that look like him? lol

It's a dump (apologies to anyone who stays there and to my 8-week-old son, who was born there  ;)).  There are bigger dumps, Greenock and Port Glasgow spring to mind  ;), but I can see why David wanted to get out of there.

Tennant is fantastic...which is why he left Paisley, I imagine.

Port Glasgow scares me, and I've only been past it in a train (en route to Gourock).

Lol. It's stems from the figurative in the same vein as the expression "a cake of soap". Masculine version of "cheesecake" for stacked girls.

Hmm, might have to rethink London in favour of Paisley then.  :-*
