Hello. I am new to posting, but have found this board very helpful just by reading other posts. My husband is in the UK on a sponsored work permit and he is going to apply for Tier 1 (switching). His current visa ends March 31st and we are trying to decide when we need to apply. He meets the points and we have the required maintenance funds though it would be easier to prove if we waited a little longer (i.e., we wouldn't need to show our US account info because we would have it all in the UK bank, though we would probably still try to). Do you know what the wait times are looking like and how soon before your leave runs out you need to apply? I know wait times can be pretty variable, but I was looking at the other posts and it seemed they were Tier 1 applying from outside the UK so I suppose they would be different. Thanks for any help.
