I got the Jamie Oliver Ministry of Food cookbook for Christmas, which I love. Everything in the book is easy to make and doesn't take long to cook.  And it's just enough for 2 people, which rocks!  Plus most of the recipes are really healthy, as well.  I highly recommend it if you need a bit of inspiration!   ;D

Sounds great, Jewlz - thanks :). I totally should have asked for some cookery books for Christmas, lol!

I think I'm mostly going to be cooking for one (which is hard because I never fancy the leftovers the next day and you can never just make enough for one meal) - I live with two other girls, but we have different work schedules and so don't get much time when we're all there to eat together (they work 9am-5pm at the same company and I do retail shifts - anything from 9.30am-6.30pm to 12pm-9pm and I work every other weekend!)

To take a Scottish Country Dance class so i don't feel like such a loser at ceilidhs!

Ooh, good one!  I've only been to one ceilidh (hogmanay last year), but I was in tears by the end of the evening because I felt like SUCH an idiot for not knowing any of the steps.  This was before I moved here and it really is ridiculous how the whole ceilidh experience scared the bejesus out of me.  I worried that I'd always feel that awkward, but thankfully that hasn't been the case.  There certainly are "ceilidh moments" I have here and there, but nothing like that night.  I should learn the dances.

The dances are lovely :). My mum was born in Glasgow and grew up in Edinburgh until she moved down to England as a teenager... so when she saw a poster advertising Scottish Country Dancing lessons in Bristol a few years ago, she decided to send me along to them!

I spent 4 years (aged 9-13) learning Scottish Country Dancing, the Highland Fling and also Highland Sword Dancing and we used to put on dance performances at local ceilidhs :). I got dragged along to a Scottish dancing evening with my mum a couple of years ago and I still remembered several of the dances even though I hadn't done it in 10 years!

I would like to lose more weight, pay my credit cards down quite a bit and try to establish a better line of communication with my MIL.

And retile my kitchen floor!

That's great!  These things don't fade away so quickly, do they?

Now that this going down in writing I guess I shall have to stick to it!

Get fit again/lose weight
Read the journals that arrive in the mail the DAY they arrive, and throw out the ones that aren't going to be useful in the future
Keep up with all my classes and start studying for boards early
Not let toxic people get me down!
Be more confident in what I know, and my clinical skills
Have a kickass time on my externships and learn a bunch
