Dare I mention Nutella in this thread?  Texture is similar to peanut butter, but is THOUSANDS times better! :D

Nutella is crack to me. I can't start a jar because I will inevitably end up eating it straight with a spoon or my finger. SOOOOO good. mmmm :)

I eyed Nutella at the shop this evening and thought the same thing.

So I bought a pot of Lemon Curd instead.   ::) I just was introduced to it a few weeks ago and was really trying to fight the temptation.

Now I'll have to decide between Marmite and Lemon curd in a morning.  Chances are that Marmite will win out.   ;D

It is time to check and reverse the growth of government, which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed.

Jam on steak?  Who would do that?
Not I!  [smiley=puke.gif]

I like cashew butter better than peanut butter too.  My daughter used to have a peanut allergy, and I got used to being peanut-free.

DW is an absolute peanut butter junkie, and she has no problem with the PB here.

So I bought a pot of Lemon Curd instead.

Definitely another favorite when I'm in the mood for something a little lighter and tangy.

And what about lemon cheese?

Lemon 'curd' and lemon 'cheese' were used interchangeably in my family, but Google tells me I've been wrong all these years! However, they are very similar. My mother always made her own lemon cheese, but it tasted the same to me as shop-bought lemon curd.

Oh no, do I have YOU to blame for this?! Did you plant that evil little seed??

I've been accused of having aberrant breakfast habits!

Saying that, it is not the taste the completely gross me out about SunPat, but I have no idea what it is.  I guess the texture.

It's definitely the texture of SunPat that grosses me out.

Nutella has cocoa in it. I don't see how you could eat it as a meal, like you would eat a peanut butter sandwich. I can't eat chocolatey food other than as dessert.

It's like peanut flavoured paste.

No, it's not great, but there are some much better brands of PB in the UK. I've never been a fan of Skippy or Peter Pan in the US (far too sweet), but I could always find other better stuff. What's the most popular and easy to buy isn't always the best.

It's terrible.  Admit it.  It's a bad bad bad thing.  It's horrible and you'd never willingly eat it.  Go on.  Admit  it.

Why ration it?  Its too good to ration and its not like you can't get it in America.
